Dear Reader,I've always been a reader and a writer and when I got back from fighting in Iraq, I knew I had a story to tell. My first novel THE YELLOW BIRDS is the story of a friendship between two soldiers, Private Bartle and Private Murphy, as well as an exploration of the effect on mothers of having their sons at war. I hope you enjoy reading it.
