Dear Librarian: Nickie and I were best friends when we were fifteen and quite naïve when we toured the Netherlands, meeting many different people and ending up in all kinds of unexpected, unusual situations. While writing down our adventures, great ideas for future trips in Europe arose. We planned to see Paris, Barcelona and more as soon as we turned eighteen. It took a little longer though, but twenty-five years later we headed off to see Berlin, taking pictures and drawing as we traveled. Together we found a route that was unexpected and wonderful — writing this book!
