Dear Librarians,

I'm sure you know somebody like John Degraffenreidt. He's a regular kid who lives in a city and he's real smart too. He may be just like you, even. Like, have you ever had nights when you weren't ready to go to bed?

As a single father, I read every night to my son John. Sometimes he couldn't get to sleep either. In fact, he and I created John and his buddy Crosley. He's the one that shows up after lights-out and sneaks John out on huge adventures. He's goofy, and he's bright red, and he's a crocodile, okay? And the reason he's bright red is just as goofy as he is.

Do you like pineapple cheesecake? Probably yes, but not as much as Crosley. Nobody does like Crosley. In this third adventure, our two Night Buddies fly over to the Pineapple Cheesecake Factory to top off Crosley's supply. They find Big Foot Mae there, staring at a mysterious new dot in the sky. Brother Crenwinkle has seen it too, so they decide to investigate. They modify their racing blimp for extreme altitude and set off into the stratosphere. What they find will absolutely warp your mind!
