Dear Librarian: Last April my first young adult book, SPECTRAL, was released. Now that my second book, GABRIEL STONE AND THE DIVINITY OF VALTA, is out I'm even more excited. I wrote it for my son Gabriel and with two boys and a girl as the three main characters, I hope it encourages both boys and girls to read. GABRIEL STONE AND THE DIVINITY OF VALTA is a middle grade fantasy adventure about three best friends who while out hiking, find a magical crystal that transports them to a dying, parallel world. The empress gives them magic powers and sends them on a quest to help save their world. But with viral-produced monsters, an evil duke—and with Gabriel struggling to conquer his fear of the dark and blaming himself for the recent disappearance of his mother—the task is much harder than they imagined.
