Dear Librarians,

As a performer at Disneyland, Princess Cruises, Lincoln Center and other theaters nationwide, I enjoy the reminiscing of old Hollywood. Shirley Temple was a big influence for this story, and my mom was named after her, so I have an affinity for this child actress. Kids today may not have heard of her, but now they have a chance to get to know Anamazie. A child star who happens to be a turkey.

My hope with GOLLYWOOD, HERE I COME! is that the reader will be inspired, as is Anamzie, to follow their heart and go for their dream, no matter what it is. Also, I dug into the Hollywood scene and found authentic movie making practices, and tied it all up with the message of inspiration.
