Library Journal's starred review of my debut novel AGAINST THE WIND has called the writing "brilliant and economical."

The story deals with family life, divorce, transgender parenting, corporate rivalry, and French-English politics, all set against an environmental issue involving wind farms. The principal character, an environmental lawyer, is repeatedly taken to task over the matter of trust. He finds himself at the threshold of life's third act as he rekindles a love from high school, reignites a male rivalry, and reunites with old summer camp friends to succeed at a previously failed canoe trip. I am pleased to introduce you to my first book.
