I've always known when writing about Nina that she's larger than life, and larger than San Francisco. She has a wardrobe that spans centuries and a fashion sense sharper than her fangs — it was only a matter of time before she broke out, headed to Manhattan, and starred in her own Underworld Detection Agency installment. She insists we call her stories The Nina Chronicles. You know how those uptown vampires are – all fashion, all fangs, all the time.
