Dolores J. Wilson
Dear Reader,
Several years ago, as a class assignment, I wrote what I felt was a compelling opening sentence—I sat undiscovered perched high on a huge oak limb and watched breathlessly as Jake Harley rolled the nude lifeless body of Denise Farrell into the dark hole.
From the moment the sentence was committed to paper, my mind spun with questions I felt obliged to answer. Who was up the tree? How could she remain undiscovered? How did she know the people below her? Why was Denise dead?
Before long, I'd found the answers to all my questions and had written my latest book, DARK SECRETS OF THE OLD OAK TREE. Look for it in March 2010.
I hope you enjoy it.
