Dear Reader, I've always wanted to write an apocalyptic saga. Six years ago, for my 13th novel BEFORE THE END: A TIME OF DEMONS, I had this idea about a woman, half of a singing brother and sister nightclub duet, who sees demons behind her human audiences' faces as one of her gifts of the coming apocalypse, and I knew I had to write it. She fights on the angels' side before and after the Rapture and protects those left behind, discovering and accepting she's one of many, like her, she must seek out and convince to join her. Not too religious...more a horrific layman's view of the end days. A tale about siblings who love each other, their safe life, and who don't want things to change. As children, there was a fire and their family died in it. They're all they have. It's also a survival in the face of overwhelming odds story as the world spins to its end.
