Dear Reader,
THE ATLANTIS CODE is a thriller and adventure story that takes a Harvard professor who specializes in ancient languages all over the world in a quest to find the lost city of Atlantis. Deep within the Vatican, an ultrasecret organization called the Society of Quirinus knows exactly what lies under the lost cityan artifact with the power to destroy the modern world, just as it once brought down Atlantis. The Church wants it to stay buried, lost forever, and is determined to stop the professor. A rogue Cardinal from the Society of Quirinus is determined to take the artifact for himself. He's got a private army of thugs under his control, and he turns them loose to find the professor and get the artifact. With the Church and the Cardinal determined to stop him, armed mercenaries chasing him across most of the civilized world, and an implacable enemy arrayed against him, the professor is well out of his league. But with the help of a beautiful and deadly Russian policewoman and an equally beautiful BBC producer, the professor succeeds where all before him have failed. Unfortunately, if he isn't careful, his discovery may cost him his life and bring down the human race forever.
The book is a thrill ride that begins in the great city of Alexandria, Egypt, and leads the characters and the book's readers on a journey all over Europe and Africa, solving the great mysteries of Atlantis along the way. I had a fabulous time writing it, and I hope that you have as much fun reading it!
