Sean Kenniff

Dear Librarian,

Extraordinary books are born in extraordinary times. Orwell's Animal Farm served as an indictment of totalitarian governments. Ellison's, The Invisible Man, not only condemned racism in America, but it helped define the "human race." Vonnegut showed us the absurdity of war with, Slaughterhouse Five.

We too are living in unprecedented times. People are feeling fenced in, and powerless. I'm hopeful you'll find my first novel, ETRE THE COW, to be the extraordinary book that tells today's story.

ETRE THE COW is a tender and thought-provoking tale about a pasture bull, named Etre, who suddenly becomes self-aware. Powerless over his circumstances, Etre struggles to accept the everyday indignity, and brutal insignificance of his cow life he realizes the grave consequence of being a naïve cow. Etre must challenge fate in order to change his destiny.

Etre's struggle is a very human one. It is a search for meaning and significance in an uncertain world, and a battle for a better life. You will cheer, cry and read ETRE THE COW over and over again—then share its message.

Etre's story is my story, and I am thrilled to be sharing it with you. Please write me personally at etrethecow@yahoo.com to win one of five autographed copies of my book.

Sincerely,
Sean Kenniff
