This story brings to life the mystical themes from Celtic folklore, where goddesses exerted powers over man and nature. The novel begins in western Ireland, in 1772, amidst the ancient ruins and standing stones.  

A young woman who inherits an army, a fleet of merchant ships, and special powers must prove herself worthy of these gifts. Her journey to the East Kingdom explores the fusion of vastly different cultures. She battles with herself, society, nature, magic — and, ultimately, love.
