Dear Librarians,

Now and then a character pops up who refuses to be ignored. Like Winfield Elliott, Viscount Stillwell. He first appeared in WHAT HAPPENS AT CHRISTMAS where we learned he had been engaged at least three times, but who keeps count? He was an intriguing secondary character which was all I intended; I can be so naïve. Lord Stillwell would not leave me alone. So I wrote the story of his failure to wed, LORD STILLWELL'S EXCELLENT ENGAGEMENTS, and now I've given him his own story: THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING WICKED. Why not? In so many ways, he's earned it.
